Pplika will help the students to integrate, apply and transform their educational knowledge in to professional skills. Exercising the following aspects of Pplika will enable the students to achieve these excellences.
Knowledge sharing
Pplika platform will work as a hub for knowledge sharing through Community of Practice (CoP). Pplika aims to accumulate a group of students, teachers or people who share a common interest, a craft, and/or a profession. The group can evolve naturally through 'discussion boards' & 'Newsgroups' facilities of Pplika based on the members' common interest in a particular domain or area.
Experience sharing
Pplika will provide a platform to share experience among their members from different communities. This section can help current students to gain knowledge and experience from former students and expert professionals within the various communities in Pplika. Experience sharing is a culture where knowledge can be disseminated based on practical experience.
Holistic knowledge
The basic premise of 'Holistic Knowledge' or 'Holistic Education' is that the 'individual personality consists of many elements, specifically, the intellect, emotions, impulse, intuition and imagination that all require activation if learning is to be more effective. In our education system subject oriented study is practiced profoundly where holistic knowledge or holistic education is more effective. Pplika will promote and encourage the students to gain holistic knowledge and will provide a platform to practice this philosophy.
Cluster centric education development (CCED)
Along with individual knowledge and skill building Pplika will promote Cluster Centric Education Development (CCED) in our society and education system. Cluster Centric Education Development is a structured intervention that gives the opportunity to a community or cluster to develop them, in terms skills and knowledge development, instead of personal development. CCED does not solve all the problems faced by a cluster, but it does build up confidence to tackle such problems as effectively as possible.
Project based learning (PBL)
Pplika will deploy its own Project Based Learning (PBL) campaign. Project-based learning is a comprehensive instructional approach to engage students in sustained, cooperative investigation. Within its framework students collaborate, working together to make sense of what is going on.
